BJP - how cheap can it ?

When the brave commandos, RAF, police officer and fire officers were still fighting to save as many hostages as possible, some politicians couldn't resist the temptation the opportunity to use this tragedy for their personal political gains. Narendra Modi, shameless as he is, i never thought would stoop down so much for his political ambitions. He goes to a neighboring state, where even the chief minister didn't visit the sites which would distract the police and have them worry about his safety, to the site and makes stump speeches with award money. All during which commandos and hostages' life were still in danger. I find it hard to understand the support this demagouge gets from some of my educated friends who are rightfully disillusioned with our politicians. To me he has always been a shameless, communal, power hungry, selfish politician and this incident only confirmed this to me.

How fittingly appropriate that Hemant Karake's wife refused to take the one crore from Narendra Modi.

The next thing that struck me was when L.K.Advani decided not to visit Mumbai along with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who had wanted to show a united front against terrorism. Instead BJP decided to use this tragedy, while it was still unraveling, to run newspaper ads against the government. Beyond shameless!

(Before you start crowing that i am siding with congress party, please re-read the article once again).

Hai,

What ever you have said regarding NarendraModi is acceptable to some extent. I do accept that he has announced money in a wrong time but I do not accept that he has done a wrong thing in announcing the money for the victim families.

Can you tell me one way in which way the families of the Victims should survive without money?? Do not say that they will get pension and they can survive with that amount because it will be a meager amount of 7000 to 15000 and I would not expect them to have a fruitful life with this amount in cities like Mumbai and Bangalore. Life without a man is miserable in a country like India it would become more miserable if they does not have money to run their families.

May be Hemant Karake's family is well established to decline the offer from Narendra Modi but not Major UnniKrishan's family and other victims families as they have responsibilities and they may not get as much pension as Hemant Karake (He is the chief of ATS and I would not expect he will be earning not less than 30-40000 per month). As he is a guy within an age of around 45-55 age group, he might have cleared his family responsibilities but what about UnniKrishnan's family who has died at an age of 31 leaving wife and 3-4 years kid. How do you expect them to live??If the plight of officers is like this what would be the plight of normal Inspectors and Constables??? Having One crore is not a small amount for the victim families as they will get around 60 thousand to One lack even if they keep the whole amount in a bank. We should appreciate the bold step of NarendraModi for announcing One crore when both Maharastra and Central governments does not have balls to say anything. But still I too accept the timing is not correct for NarendraModi to announce this money he should have announced now so that every one would have appreciated him more.

This is utter failure from the Government side as the chief of Tata's (Ratan Tata) announced that they got intimation from Intelligence agencies that "there would be an attack on the hotels, so increase security for the hotels" but the government never cared about that. Even the intelligence agencies intimated the government that there would be an attack in Mumbai and probable route for the terrorists would be sea route. But the present Congress government both in Maharastra and Center didn’t bother about increasing the coastal guard and naval forces in the coastal regions. This shows the negligence of the present Congress government. The mighty Sonia Gandhi is concentrating more in saving the party instead of saving the country. I can laugh at the present Deputy Minister's comments "These type of small incidents will be happening now and then and we should not care about them". For him killing 190 people and injuring 350 could be a small incident but not for most of the Indians. Is this the way a person in Deputy Chief Minister Position should address the people after such a disastrous event. This is the way the Congress people respond to such a barbarous event. Making Sivaraj Patil to resign does not bring 190 people lives back. So this is an utter failure of the present congress government but not the intelligence agencies

I would recommend Narendra Modi for PM post not only because he can bring down the terrorism but also the development he can bring to India. We should always remember that he has made Gujarat as one of the developed states in our country and many cities from Gujarat are one of the colorful cities in India. We should also remember that Narendra Modi could able to get Tata Nano's project without any problem while West Bengal couldn’t and not even one single state could able to do this when this project came out of West Bengal. So with whole heart I would recommend Narendra Modi for the PM candidate.
